About the files

Extensions:
.txt - Plain text file
.id  - A list of ASTRAL identifiers
.fa  - FASTA format sequence file

Immediately prior to the extension of each file is the SCOP version
number to which the file relates


astral-scopdom-atom-all
  Complete set of SCOP ASTRAL domains' sequences, extracted from PDB
  ATOM records.  (Not recommended except for special purposes.)

astral-scopdom-seqres-all
  Complete set of SCOP ASTRAL domains' sequences, extracted from PDB
  SEQRES records.

astral-scopdom-seqres-sel-gs-[1]-[2]
  Selected subsets of the complete astral-scopdom-seqres-all. 
  * "gs" means that the sequences were selected using the "Greedy SPACI"
    method.  
  * [1] identifies the similarity criterion used:
    - bib    BLAST identity in Both
    - e100m  E-value in a database of size 100,000,000 residues
    - sc     SCOP classification
  * [2] identifies the threshold cutoff
    - bib    This is the percentage identity
    - e100m  eXX means 10^XX, where commas in the filename mean decimals
    - sc     These relate to the levels of the scop hierarchy
